ADMIN & REFERENCING FEES

 

NEW TENANCIES FROM 1ST JUNE 2019

Due to a change in legislation from 1st June 2019 there are no Admin / Referencing Fees payable by an applicant for the creation of a new tenancy or referencing.

TENANCIES CREATED BEFORE 1ST JUNE 2019

For tenancies created before the 1st June 2019 an Admin Fee was implemented  to include costs for obtaining references for each applicant (& Guarantor where applicable), Credit Check, Letter of Offer, Tenancy Agreement & Schedule of Condition. The cost of this fee is listed below:

Single Tenancy                  £150.00 + VAT @ 20%   £30.00      Total  £180.00 

Joint Tenancy                    £175.00 + VAT @ 20%   £35.00        Total £210.00                         

All funds paid to Lewis and Rowden initially and over the course of your tenancy are protected by the UKALA Client Money Protection Service  https://www.ukala.org.uk/client-money-protection-cmp/  to provide you with the certainty your payments held by us are protected.

Lewis and Rowden are members of The Property Ombudsman, details of which can be found at https://www.tpos.co.uk/members/codes-guidance and we subscribe to their Code of Practice for Letting Agents.
